
Scott Bouldin is the creator and founder of Southern Gospel forward. Affectionately known as "PaPaw" in the SGF community, Scott developed a love for Southern Gospel Music at a very young age and has been a lifelong supporter and fan. He has over 30 years of experience in accounting, banking and financial management, and he currently holds the title of Sr. VP/COO of West Alabama Bank & Trust in Reform, AL. Scott also has over 26 years of ministry experience, serving in differing roles in the church that include Youth Pastor, Worship Pastor, and Executive Pastor. He has previously served as baritone with two regional Southern Gospel groups, The Bama Boys (Millport, AL) and Chosen Witness (Alabaster, AL), and he has ministered regionally as a soloist. Scott has promoted several Southern Gospel concerts over the years in West Alabama. He is an avid collector of Southern Gospel memorabilia, and his heart’s desire is to preserve our music’s history, while also introducing Southern Gospel to future generations. One way that Scott hopes to fulfill that desire is through his leadership of Southern Gospel Forward,building a community among young Southern Gospel artists and fans. Scott and his wife, Janice reside in Kennedy, AL, and they have one son, Garrett, who recently married MacKenna (Gosart).
